So, here I am. I leave in 4ish days for our nation's capital, and I am really excited. Not just to see the inauguration, but to see everything in D.C. My father participated in Vietnam, my Great Uncles were in WWII, and my great-aunt died in the Holocaust, so getting to see the various memorials and museums dedicated to these peoples will be amazing. I am just excited to see everything. And to top it all, I really get to experience it. It's not a high school trip: I'm in college, (to an extent) I get to do what I want. This is going to be great.
In the days to come I will post some of the things that we will be doing, and how I feel about them.
Hold on folks, this is going to be a wild ride.
